Tyrolean
A Tyrolean dovetail is the flat variant of the dovetail, with one angled plane per side.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Use it for log building corners when a full dovetail is more than you need. It clamps along the length and over the height, and costs less timber and machining time.
