Tenon
A tenon is a tongue on the end of a part that fits into a mortise. The part length includes the tenon.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Use a tenon on a rail, stretcher or brace that joins into a post or leg. Put a mortise of the same size on the other part.
Fields

Default: what Add fills in on a 3000 mm part of 120 x 120 mm.
Add a tenon
Section titled “Add a tenon”- Select the part in the Parts list.
- Under Extra processings, click Add.
- Type
tenonin the search field and pick Tenon. - Set End, Face, Shoulder (x) and Centre Y.
- Set Height, and Width if the tenon is narrower than the part. Pick the End shape.
- Check that the part shows a green check. If not, open the Issues tab.
