Rectangle mark

A rectangle mark draws the outline of a rectangle on a face. It removes no material.

When to use it

Use it to show where a part bears on another, where to plane or fit by hand, or where a bracket or plate goes.

Add a rectangle mark

1. Select the part in the Parts list.
2. Under Extra processings, click Add.
3. Type rectangle in the search field and pick Rectangle mark.
4. Set Face, then Position X and Corner across the face for its corner.
5. Set Length and Width, and an Angle to turn it in the face.
6. Check that the part shows a green check. If not, open the Issues tab.

Opmerking

A Hundegger K2 with a writing marker draws it, and the card labels it Specialised machine. BVN and BVX write it in the shop test pack only, until the shop has confirmed how the machine reads it. BTLx writes its four sides as lines, with a note to check the first part. BTL writes a rectangle square to the part; one turned in its face is listed for marking by hand.
